We have been blessed in the last 7 weeks to have had visitors from the United States. In February, a small group from our home church in MN came to visit us for 8 days. Last night we had the Holladay’s over to our house. Bro. Holladay is the BIMI European director. It was such an encouragement to have them and our team over to our house for dinner.

We had everyone over for dinner the night before the group from MN left. From left to right: Rob, Angela and RoseLynn Willoughby, Leah and Dan Kuykendall, Bob, Samuel, Sophia Gilley, Andrew and Sarah Bunnell, Scott Holm and Pastor David Clear. ( Not pictured: Me, taking the picture and Joey Bunnell and Sarah Gilley – they were upstairs playing. )

Sarah, Angela, Leah and I ate lunch at my favorite little cafe in Old Town. I always get the same thing: honey glazed salad with goats cheese. Yummy!

My kids LOVE playing games with Pastor Clear.

Pastor Clear and Sophie taking a coffee break. Sophia LOVES, LOVES, LOVES coffee!! We didn’t realize that in Brazil, our Brazilian loved ones were giving her sips of their cafe between SS and church when she was just a little thing. So, she started drinking coffee about the time she started walking and she has loved it ever since.

Last night we had the Holladay’s visiting us. What a blessing. We had a Mexican feast – it was so good! Left to right: RoseLynn, Angela, Mrs. Halladay, Bro. Halladay, Sarah, Andrew and Rob. Please pray for my husband, Bob as he is in the United States in FL. ( His parents are taking good care of him! ) He has been having health issues that needed medical attention. Praise the Lord we know what the problem is now and hopefully Bob will be returning in one week. I miss him!!! It was not the same without my beloved last night.

RoseLynn is such a beautiful little girl! She is going to be getting a brother or sister in just a couple weeks ( or sooner!! )!!! I am so excited for them!! Babies are such a gift.

All of us except Bob. Did I already mention I miss him??? : (

Sophia cuddling with Mrs. Holladay.

Bro. Holladay entertaining the children with a cute song.

All tuckered out!! As soon as our company left, I went upstairs to put Sophia to bed and found the other two fast asleep on the couch.

Just thought I would throw this picture in … the girls are pretending Rosebud is a cow and they are “milking” her. They have a little pot underneath her and Sophia said she is going to warm up the milk for her baby’s bottle. Gotta love little girls!! Rosebud is in serious need of a bath and grooming. I found one place here and they want $45 for her to get a haircut! I am not sure if this is the standard price??!! So, Rosebud is our little furball right now – an adorable one, though! We love our puppy. ( Sophia loves her a little TOO much at times! )

$45 is the normal price here in the states….$65 if they come to you! But I did find a bargain priced lady – gotta love these small towns, she was only $25!:)
I’m so glad you have friends to have over and keep you company while your husband is gone! That picture of the girls milking Rosebud is just hilarious!! Hope Bob gets to come home soon!
Oh, Why don’t you try to groom Rosebud yourself? It would be fun, and if you make some serious mistakes…it will grow back right??
Glad you had some US visitors. It sounds like you guys enjoyed yourselves.
By the way, I absolutely love your green plates and china set. Gorgeous!
Hi Heather, just want you to know we are praying for you and your family and especially Bro. Bob at this time. Pastor Clear and Valerie are on a short 25th wedding anniversary trip to San Diego. We had a little celebration for them after church last night. Hard to believe they have been married that long. Trusting the Lord to bring Bob home very shortly. Love ya. Mrs. Nibbe
Heather,
I loved the pictures and the update! Praying for Bob and your family. Looks like you had a wonderful time with your company. What a blessing during this time.
